Getting skilled through SKILLS TRAIN, I am doing well as an Engineer in company's infrastructur. During my work routines, I find the problems which I have seen in the books(SKILLS TRAIN Syllabus). This course has helped me a lot in getting the amplitude to resolve the computing issues.
I found a computer, working on one place very fine, however, when I moved it from one place to another, it stopped working on first screen. A month back, I 've gone through the Chapter in which I have read about BIOS POST test. I checked everything one by one and removed the faulty hardware which was mouse in this case.

I was so grateful after having more than 8 months of the course because of family problems!!! After coming back to it I achieved 95% on my TMA'S without any tutor help am so proud of myself as am loving the A+ to BITS!

FROM DOOR SUPERVISOR (SECURITY STAFF) TO A NETWORK ENGINEER

I am currently taking my second semester CCNA course and this on its own is a lot of achievement by me. It takes a lot of courage and determination to combine your regular work, your university course and the Cisco courses.

Although I have not been promoted since the last time I got a promotion, but I could smell promotion. Armed with the practical experiences I got from CCNA semester 1, I have helped to draw up a network diagram for the IS department whcih has been accepted and been worked on at the moment. I used Packet Tracer to achieve this. My name has been put forward for sponsorship by my company for more professional courses due to my contribution.

What a successful career path skillstrain college has given me (from a security officer to a network engineer)!

May I use this opportunity to extend my warm gratitude to my tutors, students and staff of skillstrain college for the good work. I can't wait to complete my CCNP so that I could embark on a company sponsored learning with skillstrain.

I have been working really hard this month, after being taken ill I was unable to achieve the goals that I had intended to achieve; maybe now that I am on the road to recovery I can catch up and pass this course by the end of the year :) thanks for all your help

I have done ComTia A+ and N+, and finished first semester of Cisco Discovery 1 and passed.

Despite the high demand from the degree programme, I managed to complete the A+ section which am waiting for the other part of the course. Though, this help me too to do some little jobs on friends and my own computer or other electronics.

Since I have been studying with skills train, I have gain a lot even beyond my own comprehension, the following are what I believed I have achieved so far---

1. I can now download pictures from my digital camera to computer & transfer to whosoever I want to send it to through e-mails, this is what I cannot do before, but with the training that I gain from skills train, I can now do this.

2. Setting up my internet cable without contacting the customer service of my service provider.

3. I was able to replace my data card with a new one on my own without any assistance from any one, now it seems am a computer repairer, thanks to Skillstrain tutor, they've been so helpful all through the way.

4. Replacing my compact disc section with a dvd player, I believed for this to be possible, it was the help of my tutors at skills train, thank you all.

During the last month I have passed my CCNA 1 semester exam with a mark of 92.7% and have been able to help one of my friends by determining the best cable types to install in a new house which is is building. I was able to help reduce his costs by informing him that for a household the would be no benifit in using shielded twisted pair cabling instead of CAT5 UTP.

I was unable to do my TMA's or even any study for about 18 to 24 month and have only now got the change to get back into it this month.

I have worked harder and passed more TMA's this month than I did in total befor.

I have worked hard this month as they say "in the face of adversity" I just wanted to be able to say I have done well...:-)

I can build computers, help staff/children with IT skills and etc, install hardware and software onto desktops/laptops, I can also encrypt laptops when staff bring them to myself or even telling them over the telephone step by step procedure and keeping a record of any IT equipment sent to any people either on a spreadsheet or on a word document.

In just starting with my A+ course I'm finding it very helpful getting to know the working of computers. I've done 4 assignments so far, and things make more sense now and I'm finding it fun and very interesting the more I do.

Since the beginning of the year I have taken and passed Comtia A+ and Network+. I studied up to the end of CCNA1 of the old syllabus and have now completed the CCNA1 and plan to have completed CCNA2 by the end of the year.

I work full time and have four children so studying can some times be difficult. I have to be very strict about how I study. Every evening after the kids have gone to bed, even when I don't really feal like it.

Don't know what I'll do with my time when I've finshed, or rather what was I doing with it before I started.
