OVER THE LAST TWO MONTHS I HAVE COMPLETED MY COURSE AND I AM WAITING FOR MY EXAM DATE.I HAVE STUDIED VERY HARD SOMETIMES TOO HARD AS I HAD TO RESUBMIT TWO OF MY TMA BECUASE OF STUDING AND SUBMITING TMA S LATE AT NIGHT OR EARLY IN THE MORNING AND MAKING SIMPLE MISTAKES.I HAVE ALSO STARTED TO HELP MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WITH THE PROBLEMS WITH THERE COMPUTERS FOR EXAMPLE MY COUSIN HAD A PROGRAM THAT WAS NOT RESPONDING AND HE PHONED ME TO ASK FOR ADVICE, BECAUSE OF THE EXPERINCE GAINED THROUGH THE COURSE I WAS ABLE TO GUIDE HIM THROUGH EACH STEP OVER THE TELEPHONE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. The first part of my course I found it very difficult to study sufficiently to take the TMA's with any degree of frequency due to change in my job and the loss of a close family member and then a house move! In October all of the upheaval finally settled and I set my self a target of submitting One TMA per week going forward, which to date I have managed to achieve and have just minutes ago sent in my 4th one , so I am very proud to have kept myself on track!! The end of October and begining of November have really been quite very busy in any sense possible in my household. I have been pinned down with three sets of assignments for my university due in on the 8/11/07. To my mind, there was no way of dealing with all this and the SkillsTrain course. I was about to pick up a phone and annouce that I am quiting the course. Luckily enough, I have managed to get my self together and finish everything on time! More importantly not quiting the course! I have got some breathing space now, and as result I am doing quite well with the TMA submitions. What a period! I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY BUSY THIS LAST MONTH. OVERTIME AT WORK, HAVE DECORATED THE FLAT IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS AND HAVE STILL MANAGED TO STUDY WITHOUT NEGLECTING MY FAMILY COMMITMENTS. ALL THE WHILE MY UNDERSTANDING OF COMPUTERS IS INCREASING EVERY DAY, I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT IN MYSELF BECAUSE AT FIRST I THOUGHT I HAD BITTEN OFF MORE THAN I COULD CHEW, BUT NOW I KNOW I CAN BE SUCCESSFUL IF I CONTINUE WITH THE STUDYING. I KNOW HOW HARD I HAVE WORKED THIS IS WHY I AM NOMINATING MYSELF. When I started my study programme I was not computer literate at all. I juggle between studying and long working hours at work. Through interest, hard work, perseverance and the determination to achieve positive results, I managed to excel when I submitted my TMA01 for marking. This month has been relatively difficult for me to combine work and reading(learning) but with a little bit of perseverance I think I will be able to achieve my target. The Live Internet Training was presented, easy to follow and useful session. Keep it up guys!! I was a mechanic for several years until a sports injury put pay to that so had to change job roles. I then went into general office work for a number of years but nothing too technical. I am now a full time househusband as my wife is the breadwinner, I look after my two young boys (3yr old & 1 yr old) during the day, normally up at 6am so can be quite a tiring day with the energy that they have & as they can be a little demanding sometimes. I have martial arts classes in the evening 3 times a week so have to be very strict with my study timetable but make sure that I get at least 7-8 hours in a week. I started the first two sections of the A+ course 2-3 weeks ago & have achieved 100% & a 90% pass mark respectively, just submitted section 3 so fingers crossed. I consider what I've done so far with my passmarks a great achievement especially when up until recently all I knew about computers was to turn it on, work certain programs & the internet & turn it off again!! As new student to skills train and a full time worker, I study twice a week and I devote my time to all the course material. I will therefore without an air of resistance let anything hinder my progress as I will make sure not to underscore any of my assignment below 50% mark. Now I have the job in the council, I helps people on the pc. I also rectify the problem and solve the problem. I am also doing very well to set up the computer. Until taking this course I knew nothing about computers and now ive only been doing the course a few months I can troubleshoot my friends and familys comps and more often than not, help with the problem. Not only that but ive also got two 100%'s and one 93% which personally I think is a great achievement. I have successfully passed my N+ exam just 6 months with the Skillstrain
