Skillstrain CCNA Certification » Cisco Networking » Cisco CCNA Testimonials
I have a small knowledge of IT, but I have been helping a small computer company with their work in most of my spare time which has helped me improve my knowledge. This has included the following work : Replacing switches to improve network performance, adding or replacing memory modules in PC's, network cards, and adding SCSI cards to Small Business Servers. Also with the work that I have studied through Skillstrain, plus the extra knowledge I have now, I managed to work out and fix a computer, which was a very satisfying achievement. Well what can I say if it's having been said in Success Stories, I read some of them and they are all true? Learn when you can. I try to read the book in my dinner hour, Sometimes I need to read the page 2 to 3 times to understand it. Why not iv got the time and when I get home get strata on the PC then on the www and fined more info about what your learning. There's nothing on the www that you cannot find out. If you need help you've got skillstran but if you find out something on the www you will feel more pleased because YOU have done it yourself. If you forget something and you remember it that you have seen it in the book you can go back on it and read it again. I AM NOT CURRENTLY EMPLOYED IN THE IT INDUSTRY BUT HAVE MANAGED TO PASS MY COMPTIA A+ AND NETWORK+ FIRST TIME. Just started the CCNA part of the course this month (July) after completing A+ and N+ (all within a year) and working as well. Sat the CompTIA A+ public exam and passed well. I was really aprehensive about doing an online course and was worried that the support and needed course material wouldn't be there. I was shocked when the course material came through and pleased with the approachable way it was laid out. I knew a bit about computers before and this is why I chose CCNA. Since I have started the course, my knowledge has deepened and I have been able to easily Network various peoples and company's computers. I didn't use to have a lot of confidence before, but now find that I am able to help a lot of people with their computing. I have only recently started a course here at SkillsTrain and I am happy that I am getting high percentage marks on my exams when I am also under a lot of pressure at work doing various taks. We have implemeted a new IT system within the housing association, and as I am on the IT team, I am learning EVERY aspect of the system, where other people will just be learning their little corner of the system. I have studied thoroughly this month and I have been through many ups and downs in order to achieve the desired grades on assignments. I enjoy studying the material and I know this learning process that I'm going through will only improve my knowledge and help boost my carrear in IT. Before starting this course,I had a little knowledge in IT.But at the moment I can proudly say my understanding of IT has improved drastically. Just recently achieved my first 100% result on TMA12, which has given me an extra lift to study harder and progress further within my course. My confidence and skills have grown since starting the course. More friends and family members are seeking my help and advice. Already built two pc's for friends who are very pleased, and also troubleshooted another pc and repaired for a BT workers friend. I will be the first to admit that I have been very slow on progression of my course, but recently have pulled my finger out! The last few months I have handed TMAs in on a regular basis and have acheived good results. Best of luck to every body studying with SkillsTrain, and thanks to all the tutors for their assistance!!!
